Vancouver Island Air serves many of the more
remote communities of coastal British Columbia on a daily
basis with on-demand scheduled seaplane service featuring Beech 18 and DeHavilland Beaver aircraft.
With
year-round flights including twice daily departures during
peak months (April to Oct) from our Campbell River facility
we offer a convenient yet inexpensive way to travel. Listed
below are some of the more than 200 coastal locations we can fly you
to.

Honest, we have a plan... it
just seems like we don't!
On demand service means just that, if there is no traffic
we do not stop! What this means is that every flight is
different and we really do not know exactly where we are
going until departure time (and sometimes after departure).
How this effects you as a passenger is actually quite simple:
1) We are going to wherever you want to go. (Please
take a moment to look at the flight area map links on the
top right of this page for general area of service in British Columbia.)
2) We will not know until departure time precisely
when we'll get to your location but we can easily provide
you ahead of time with an approximate arrival that will
be very close. And finally
3) You have an incredible choice of destinations
to choose from!
Vancouver Island Air features the twin-engine Beech 18 and single-engine DeHavilland Beaver floatplane on all flights.
