"It has been several months since our crews have returned home from their tour of duty in Kingcome. The time has come to reflect back on our efforts and of those who helped us along the way. The challenges we faced were unusual and unique. We could not operate as we would in the “city”. The remoteness of Kingcome forced us to be creative and industrious. Our crews rose up to the challenge and were rewarded with an incredible and unforgettable experience. They actually made a difference and their efforts were welcomed and appreciated by the Dzawada`enuxw First Nation.

"We would not have completed the recovery efforts without your services and local knowledge. As challenging as the weather was to get manpower, equipment and supplies into Kingcome, you and your staff made it a personal mission to help us. I honestly don’t believe there could be another airline providing your level of service. Larry, you manage a truly first class operation and we can’t thank you enough for the superior and safe service. I look forward to the next time we can work together."

"Knight Inlet Lodge has used Vancouver Island Air as its exclusive floatplane provider for over 10 years and counting. Our lodge transports over 2,000 guests and staff plus tons of groceries and cargo every season with Vancouver Island Air. Their professionalism, attention to detail and dedication make them a valued member of the Knight Inlet Lodge team."

"Anchor Cove Electric is based in Campbell River but we travel up and down the BC coast servicing remote power lines, generation equipment and water systems.  We are often called in on short notice and our customers depend on us to get there when we say we will. We’ve been flying exclusively with Vancouver Island Air to remote locations for almost three years.  In that time, we’ve never had a single concern about safety or reliability. Passenger safety and comfort is VIA’s first objective.  VIA’s Turbine Otter easily handles a large crew and all our gear. Their pilots are courteous and know our staff by name. We are always advised in advance if a weather system is moving in and the VIA office will call our office with departure and arrival updates. Scheduled flights are quite affordable and the charter rates are the best we can find. And the scenery is the best in the world! There’s plenty of parking at the terminal and the coffee is always hot. I’d recommend Vancouver Island Air to anyone working the coast, travelling to fishing or eco camps, or just thinking about grabbing an extra seat for a scenic tour on a work run. We’ll fly with VIA as long as we’re working the coast."

"I have been flying with VIA since Allan was 6 months old and he is going on 23 in November. VIA is a lot like family because I talk with you daily personally (for my B&B) or for work."

"Sonora Resort has been using Vancouver Island Air for transport of our guests between Campbell River and Sonora Island for a number of years and we are extremely pleased with the courteous, reliable service they have provided during this time. They have also been available to us on short notice and helped us out when water transportation fell through at the last minute. We very much enjoy our relationship with Vancouver Island Air and look forward to building on this in the years to come."
